ENSUITE & guest bathroom

We recently completed a stunning renovation that transformed a dated ensuite and a former laundry into two serene, nature-inspired bathrooms. The client’s brief was clear — create a calming retreat that feels like an escape, bringing elements of nature indoors.

To achieve this, we used warm grey, vein-cut travertine stone-look tiles across the floors and walls in both spaces. With its linear grain and earthy tones, the tile provided the perfect backdrop for a spa-like atmosphere rooted in texture and tranquillity.

Oak style vanities brought warmth and organic charm, while arched mirrors added a soft, architectural touch. Matte black tapware introduced a modern edge, offering a refined contrast against the natural material palette. A pair of ivory basins were chosen to sit atop the vanities, adding a touch of softness and elegance. Their smooth curves and muted tones offered visual balance and a calming focal point in each space. In the ensuite, a curved glass shower screen was introduced to echo the soft lines found throughout the design, enhancing the sense of flow and openness without disrupting sightlines or natural light.

Wall sconces were incorporated in both bathrooms, providing gentle ambient lighting and an added layer of warmth. Their placement was thoughtfully considered to complement the overall aesthetic while enhancing functionality and mood. One of the most impactful changes was the installation of two new skylights in the ensuite. These opened the room to natural light and airflow, creating a bright, fresh environment that enhances the sense of openness and relaxation.

The result is a beautifully layered, nature-inspired sanctuary — a place where function meets serenity, and where every detail contributes to the feeling of retreat.
