Kitchen & Walk-In Wardrobe

Contemporary Entertainer’s Home. This renovation was all about cabinetry and creating a striking first impression. The client wanted a space that would both impress guests and serve as a beautiful, functional hub for entertaining.

Originally, the vision was for a monochromatic palette of black and white paired with stone benchtops. However, once the existing timber floors were refinished to a rich walnut tone, the design direction evolved to create a warmer, more sophisticated interpretation of the monochrome look.

We introduced Estella Oak cabinetry across the back wall and tall units to soften what would have been a large, dominant black surface. This was complemented by matte white cabinetry beneath the island bench, maintaining balance and lightness. To add depth and drama, the client selected Super White natural stone, which brings stunning movement and a luxurious finish that ties the kitchen and adjoining living area together — complete with a matching custom TV unit for cohesion.

Upstairs, the walk-in robe features Florentine Walnut cabinetry, echoing the warmth of the downstairs flooring and complemented by a timber feature wall behind the bed, creating a seamless flow throughout the home.

The result is a contemporary entertainer’s kitchen and living area full of character, warmth, and timeless style — perfectly blending function with refined design.
