Somerleigh Cres, Greensborough

Main Bathroom & Ensuite

This Greensborough home featured a family bathroom and ensuite that were larger than most, giving us the opportunity to rework the layouts into spaces that felt more functional, light-filled and considered, without losing that sense of luxury.

The brief was to create a warmer palette while still working within a grey-toned tile base. To achieve this balance, we layered soft greys with earthy, organic textures to keep the spaces feeling calm and grounded rather than cold.

To further warm the rooms, we selected Meir brushed nickel tapware, which adds subtle warmth and pairs beautifully with the timber flooring throughout the home. Continuing this connection, the vanity features Tasmanian Oak cabinetry by ADP, bringing in a natural element that ties the bathrooms back to the rest of the house.

Main Bathroom

For practicality and ease of cleaning, Domus Living bases were used, with tiles carefully matched to create a seamless, cohesive finish. Given the home’s leafy outlook and its Greensborough setting, an earthy aesthetic felt like the natural direction. Feature tiles were chosen to reflect organic forms and textures, allowing the spaces to feel connected to the surrounding trees without relying on bold colour. Instead, colour was intentionally left to be introduced through accessories.

Matt white sanitaryware was selected throughout, including the bath, toilet and basins, to keep the look timeless and understated.

In the ensuite, the goal was pure luxury. The clients were keen to retain the twin showers, so we enhanced the experience by increasing the shower zone, creating a more open and indulgent feel while maintaining functionality.

The result is a pair of bathrooms that feel warm, grounded and refined—perfectly suited to both the home and its natural surroundings.
